§ 2-82. Duties generally.

(a)

It shall be the duty of each police officer at all times and at all places to preserve to the best of his ability order, peace and quiet and to enforce strict obedience to the laws of the state and the ordinances of this city.

(b)

It shall be the duty of police officers to treat other city officers and person with whom they come in contact in the discharge of their duties in a courteous and respectful manner.
