Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 17-7. Permit to construct or reconstruct driveway.
No person shall construct, reconstruct or install any driveway from private property to a public street in this city, which driveway shall obstruct any surface drainageway, without first obtaining a permit from the building official. An applicant for a permit shall file with the building inspector an application showing:
(1)
The name and address of the owner of the property abutting the proposed driveway;
(2)
The location of the proposed driveway;
(3)
Plans of the proposed driveway;
(4)
Such other information as the building official shall find reasonably necessary.
The building official shall issue a permit when he finds that the driveway shall not unreasonably interfere with the drainage of surface water in surface drainageways.
