§ 6-9. Interment.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to bury within the city the body of a deceased person elsewhere than in the Fairview Cemetery.

(b)

An application for burial designating the location for burial, establishing ownership or right to use the space designated, and establishing the authority of the person to control the burial on behalf of the deceased must be filed with the city sexton and a written permit issued prior to any interment.

(c)

No permit shall be issued unless the space has been paid for, all applicable space fees and service charges have been paid in full and compliance with all state rules and statutes applicable to such interment is established.
