§ 2-32. Qualifications.

(a)

No person who is not a legally qualified elector in the city shall be elected to fill any elective city office.

(b)

No person who is or has been a defaulter to the state, county or city, or who at the time of the annual election shall be in default to the city on account of any taxes shall be eligible for any city office.
