§ 12-12. Contempt; bail.

  • The recorder shall have power to punish for contempt to the same extent and under the same circumstances as the county judge may punish for contempt of the county court under the laws of this state. He shall have power to take recognizance, admit to bail and forfeit recognizances and bail bond under such rules and regulations prescribed by the state for taking and forfeiting the same in the county court.
